High on the Ofenthaler Berg, surrounded by vines, audio stations deal with the history of viticulture in Franconia. The "wine tells" and the architecture opens up a unique view over the oldest wine town in Franconia and the Saale valley. As early as 777, Hammelburg and its wine were mentioned by Charlemagne. More than 1000 years ago, wine brought prosperity and great recognition to the wine town of Hammelburg.
