Hiking

You can get to this viewpoint directly from Leienkaul, but the way through the old slate heaps in the Kaulenbach valley is much nicer. A bit through the forest, then past the only house in the nature reserve (it was there before it became a NSG) towards Leienkaul and past the riding center on the left, then you stand on a plateau and have a breathtaking view (in good weather) and a view the whole slate heap
