The Bücheler Mühle was first mentioned in 1785. Nothing is known about what type of mill it was. It burned down in the 19th century, was rebuilt and, like many mills, changed hands frequently.

The seclusion and solitude in the deep Enderttal also caused some bizarre stories to circulate. The Büchelermühle was not spared either.
