Around 200 construction workers, either traveling freely or organized in shafts, have been involved in the unusual journeyman piece since May 2014, explains project manager Dieter Hartung. Sometimes only ten and sometimes up to 30 bricklayers, carpenters, carpenters, stonemasons, stove fitters from Germany and Switzerland, the Netherlands, France and Denmark would have stopped in Dümmer for a few weeks at the same time. Wooden guild signs on the red brick facade of the almost finished building announced the various trades involved.

Hiking

The parish hall in Dümmer was built by journeymen from all over Europe and was therefore given the name Europahaus. The opening took place in the summer of 2015. There is a free parking lot to the left of the facility, which can be used as a starting point for exploring the area and for a stay at the bathing area opposite.
