Can also be used as a warm-up via ferrata for the Oskar-Schuster via ferrata. But it is also a nice half-day activity on its own, with or without a standing gondola.
Because the classification is not so difficult, there are also inexperienced via ferrata climbers who don't pay attention to where they step and then keep stepping off small stones...

Brand new via ferrata, opened in 2022, below the Langkofelscharte. The entrance can be reached from the Toni-Demetz Hütte in 20 minutes. The ferrata ends just above the Toni-Demetz hut.
The climb is equipped with the latest materials and equipment details, e.g. KASC fall shock absorbers.
Hopefully it won't be overcrowded due to the good accessibility by gondola...
The climb is classified with difficulty up to "C". About halfway there is the possibility of an emergency exit if you don't dare to go to the C-section with a slight overhang that comes later.
Of course, the equipment includes a complete via ferrata set with a helmet.

It is a via ferrata that reaches the Demetz refuge by climbing and climbing over a large rocky bastion to the left of the gravel gully in front of the refuge itself.
The via ferrata is very recent, the equipment is perfect, the cable is thick and well tensioned.
It has a medium level of difficulty (MD) with stirrups and brackets positioned with criteria such as to maintain the right level of difficulty. The view is always magnificent throughout the duration of the via ferrata. Lasts approximately an hour and a half. Always present exposure.
