    The small church 'Madonna delle Grazie' is located at the foot of the mountain village of Rima.
    The first mention of a private chapel dates from 1480. During the 17th century, the primitive chapel was enlarged with the addition of the portico, the elevation of a vaulted nave.
    The residence of the beautiful wooden statue of the Virgin from the 15th century made this chapel a favorite place of worship. A real popular devotion started. Last expansion took place in 1688 but fell into disrepair over the centuries. A small part of the frescoes from 1481 survived the test of time. The surviving fresco depicts the Coronation of the Virgin.
    Well worth a visit.
    If the church is closed, you can still enjoy the sunlight that plays on the facade.
