At Frihedsbroen, the characteristic red-and-white railing colors have been preserved, which in the period 1864 to 1920 were used to mark the feeling of Danishness in the area. The site is located by a parking lot and in the same place there is also a tent site. On the northern bank of the Kongeå river just after the Freedom Bridge, it is possible to haul canoes ashore.It is free to use the shelter pitches along Kongeåstien, and the pitch is left tidy. The shelters cannot be booked in advance.
