Undeniably one of the best gravel tracks I've ever ridden in the UK (or anywhere for that matter. Despite being relatively close to cities and villages, this feels a million miles from anywhere.

Watch out for puddles even in the summer, you're probably going to get your feet wet.

Great section of gravel trail up over Salter Fell through an area of beautiful moorland, also open to motorcycles but generally very quiet. Good surface for gravel bikes except for short section on south side
