AIDS Memorial, since 2000 Maria Grün has been the seat of the Aids pastoral care of the Archdiocese of Vienna on the initiative of Father Clemens Kriz. Father Clemens has been the diocese's AIDS pastor since 1992. Integrated into the Way of the Cross, an AIDS memorial was erected as a memorial by name for the deceased HIV-infected people, which was unveiled and inaugurated on June 2, 2007 as part of the celebrations for the 2007 AIDS memorial day.
