The church was built from 1929 to 1930 according to the plans of the architects Alexander Cazin and H. Lohmann in neo-Baroque forms. The pulpit, decorated with figurative and ornamental carvings, coats of arms and inscriptions dates from 1557. Before moving to the church, it stood in the St. Paulus chapel for a long time. The wooden crucifix was carved in 1500. [...] The bell from 1658 was cast by Joh. Engelringk.
