In addition to promenades, cafés and playgrounds, there is plenty of seating with a view of the water, wet meadows, ponds and softwood meadows as well as a landing stage for canoeists and paddlers.
The park also includes two large playgrounds.
The old stone weir, which is one of the last remains of the old fortification in Lippstadt, is particularly impressive.
