There is a lot to discover in Kempten. And there are always one or two surprises! In 2010, for example, a mill wheel measuring around four meters was installed in the Mühlbachquartier at the beginning of Gerberstrasse, along with the watercourse through Gerberstrasse. The watercourse is reminiscent of the historic stream that once flowed here and was used by the tanners. Today, the street invites you to shop and stroll, and we now rest our feet here with a glass of wine...
