Nice little church with a work of art from 1389 of the Madonna dei Cavalli on the right side of the facade. Artwork has been hanging on the outside here since 1989.

This place of worship in Asti has a name that is truly on everyone's lips as a patron saint, but probably only a few will know the person behind it: The commemoration of Saint Silvester (San Silvestro) is on December 31st. He lived at the end of the third, beginning of the fourth century and was Bishop of Rome when Emperor Constantine recognized Christianity as a religion with the Edict of Milan (also known as the "Edict of Tolerance"), thus ending (at least temporarily) the period of bloody persecution of Christians .
