Monument to the priest prelate Hilary Jastak, chaplain of the Home Army and Solidarity.
It is not without reason that the priest's monument emphasizes the great bond with his native Kashubia, with the Home Army and with Solidarity. Fr. Hilary Jastak, in his long and rich in events and personal achievements life, had great merits for Kashubia and the entire Pomeranian region, with which he was associated almost all his life. Only the time of the war forced him to take refuge in Mazovia in order to save his life from German criminals. It was then that he joined the Home Army. After the war, he became a defender of fundamental values in the homeland enslaved by the communists. Despite persecution during the Stalinist period and in the following years, he steadfastly remained in love for God, Honor and the Fatherland
