“The oldest parts of the church building in Bornheim date back to the 13th century. In the tower is probably the oldest bell in Rheinhessen. The oldest of the three bells is over 700 years old and miraculously survived all the turmoil of time.
A special gem is the organ built in 1743 by Johann Michael Stumm and his sons (from Rhaunen-Sulzbach in the Hunsrück), which has largely been preserved true to the original.” from bornheim-rheinhessen.de/kirche.
The forecourt / staircase to the church with beautiful herbaceous borders is particularly beautiful.
