The wheel of the water mill has a diameter of 2.60 meters. When it was built I wasn't quite clear. There is a carved date that suggests that it was built in 1698.

On the B65 in Eilhausen is the fully functional and restored (but no longer in use) water mill, a one-story small quarry stone building with a half-timbered gable, gabled roof and oversized water wheel. Its construction is dated 1698.
