The commemorative plaque of German division is in front of the Salzgitter-Bad police station. An iron plaque commemorating the victims of division and dictatorship is attached to an original element of the Berlin Wall. On both sides there are information boards about the former inner-German border and the Salzgitter collection point, which existed here until 1992.
