Linked with the Welsh folktale of Gelert the faithful dog, Beddgelert is a pretty, touristy town near to the confluence of the river Glaslyn and the river Colwyn. Good for cafes and outdoor shops.

The announced point of view and café seem to be near the sea, at the bottom (we went walking uphill and did not see it). We discovered later that the area is a archeological landmark.
