The group of figures was donated by the city of Schwäbisch Hall in the course of the new construction of the district office from 1978 to 1981. The artist is Karl-Henning Seemann. The focus of Seemann's artistic work is always the human or animal figure. He became known for his groups of figures, which take up everyday situations. There is chatter, bickering and drinking beer - which can also be observed on the streets and squares. Seemann masterfully implements the movement in the actually static form of a sculpture. His figures are so alive that the viewer thinks they must be moving at any moment. He did a great job here too.

The bronze sculpture group is located on the steps of the district administration building.

...the element of "stairs" has been humorously incorporated into the sculpture. This sculpture, dating from 1981, is by Karl-Henning Seemann (born March 13, 1934, in Wismar), a German sculptor and draftsman. He is best known for his sculptures and fountains in public spaces.

Numerous sculptures and artworks made of various materials are displayed in the city center of Schwäbisch Hall. There is much to discover, even for those unfamiliar with art. The artworks are generally accessible at all times.
