The old mill was built near Sehlhof in the 13th century and moved to its current location in Bleckmar around 1550. The mill dam and the later "Herrengraben" were built in the middle of the 16th century to contain the flooding from the moor. The mill itself was shut down in 1973. The mill pond behind it has a picturesque character. Very easy to reach by bike.
