Hiking
Nabburg was already known as an important market and administrative center in the Middle Ages.
Its location on the Naab River and along ancient trade routes made it a regional hub.
Even today, the remnants of the city walls, gates, and historic buildings shape the townscape and tell of its long tradition as a fortified town.
The old town, with its narrow streets, townhouses, and churches, conveys an authentic picture of Upper Palatinate urban history.

In the historic old town, you'll find many significant Romanesque and Gothic buildings,
as well as this charming inn.
Built around 1500, the inn stands in the heart of the historic old town.
In 1711, it was granted the so-called tavern license, meaning it was permitted to operate an inn with overnight accommodations,
and has been family-owned since 1898.
These overnight accommodations are still offered to guests today in newly renovated,
very nicely furnished guest rooms.
