One of the most beautiful places to look at Ulm can be used as the start and / or end point of a tour over the Hochsträß and the trails. Here the view sweeps over the Donkey and Michelsberg to the Safranberg. The minster peeks out from behind the fort and a little further west you have an amazing view along the Iller towards Upper Swabia, the Allgäu and the Alps.

Great view of Fort Oberer Kuhberg and Ulm - those who follow the path along the ridge to the west will be rewarded with new views to the south as far as the Alps (depending on the weather ;-)) and north to the Alb. Excellent starting point for various activities along the Hochsträss: whether for a leisurely walk or a bike ride on the beautifully laid out gravel paths or a MTB round on the simple cross-country trails in the forest, such as the Schanzbergtrail.
