The huge snow pits (Sniežne Kotly) are located on the Polish side of the Giant Mountains and are part of the Polish nature reserve. They consist of two impressive glaciers - the Great Snow Pit (Wielky Śnieżny Kocioł) and the Small Snow Pit (Mały Śnieżny Kocioł).
