Holme Dunes is perfectly positioned for viewing migrating birds. It is also home to many other wildlife species including natterjack toads, butterflies and dragonflies, and lots of interesting plant varieties. You can see military remains from WWII here and a Bronze Age timber circle was uncovered by strong tides in 1998 after being hidden for some 4,000 years.
