A beautiful, long, narrow, and at times busy cycle and footpath, but the scenery is fantastic. The path is perfectly flat and, while it's pothole-free, there are a few willow rusts along the way. It's definitely better than riding on the very narrow and busy country road. It's also really fun to cycle from Farchant towards Oberau, as the path winds through nature with quite a few long, and sometimes tight, bends. It's also gently downhill in this direction, meaning you hardly have to pedal or can maintain a high pace.

Really a nice piece away from the streets and without any traffic. Here it goes over moss and Wiesn and if you are lucky, the Zugspitze is not overcast and you have a breathtaking view of Germany's highest mountain.
