The Neptune Grotto is a stalactite cave, it is 1 meter above sea level. It is a cave system about 4 km long, a few hundred meters are open to the public. From here you can reach it via 654 steps down the almost vertical cliff. A boat tour from Alghero is less strenuous. There is an entrance fee of €14.
