The Buru tower, historically and officially in Alghero Catalan the "Torre del Bol" or "Torre del Bolo", belongs to the complex of fortified structures which from the early Middle Ages until the mid-19th century constituted the defensive, sighting and communication of the coasts of Sardinia.

The fort, located between the cliffs of Capo Caccia, is located at an altitude of 34 metres, on a promontory overlooking the entrance to the bay of Porto Conte. As you get closer, you can already see the structure from afar. The view of the bay and the cliffs is spectacular.
