Running

The path through the Wittekindsglacis is the southern section of a circular route through the Minden Glacis. The Glacis was once (until 1873) the open firing range outside the fortifications of the Minden fortress. Since the abolition of the fortress (1873), it has become a unique green belt in over 150 years, surrounding the entire old town. On the paths through the Glacis, you can move beautifully and relaxingly on foot or by bike, or cycle around the entire old town. My recommendation as an old Mindener!🍀😊

Running

A piece of green lung in the middle of the city, not far from the Weser.
The Weserradweg also leads through here.
