Despite the nearby federal highway, you can sit here and relax by the water and unwind. If you like, you can also cool your feet here. The water is shallow and the current is not too strong (be careful: it is still a flowing body of water! Everyone acts at their own risk). The many information boards explain the old rafting technique and at the old dam you get a good idea of how arduous the work was back then.
