A great feeling to drive through the Milseburgtunnel. In summer it is a very nice refreshment. It also houses bats. From November to mid-April the tunnel is closed, but there is a four-kilometer bypass. The environmentally friendly lighting with sodium vapor lamps is also very nice.

The Milseburg Tunnel was a railway tunnel on the former Götzenhof–Wüstensachsen railway line near the Milseburg mountain in the Hessian part of the Rhön. It was converted into a railway line cycle path in 2003, the so-called Milseburg Cycle Path.
