The Gickelsburg ring wall is a Celtic ring wall system, which is assigned to the late Hallstatt period. It is located on the mountain called Gickelsburg about 1.0 km east of the Saalburg fort near Friedrichsdorf in the Hessian Hochtaunuskreis. The Burgstall is a Hessian archaeological monument.

On the Gickelsburg was around 500 BC. a Celtic ring wall settlement from the Hallstatt period - known as Ring Wall Gickelsburg. Your area is designated as a ground monument according to the Hessian Monument Protection Act. With the support of Landgrave Friedrich V of Hesse-Homburg, a wooden water pipe was put into operation on November 27, 1827 to supply Dillingen from the Fahrborn spring, which is located on the south-west slope of the Gickelsburg, which later fell into disrepair.
