Your area is designated as a ground monument according to the Hessian Monument Protection Act. With the support of Landgrave Friedrich V of Hesse-Homburg, a wooden water pipe was put into operation on November 27, 1827 to supply Dillingen from the Fahrborn spring, which is located on the south-west slope of the Gickelsburg, which later fell into disrepair.
