The Reigersbos is an important breeding ground for the gray heron. You can admire these beautiful animals during a nice walk from the beginning of January to the end of May. There is also a footpath that leads through the meadows to the Kanaaldok B2 and on to Zandvliet.
In addition to the Reigersbos, a new nature reserve is being created that should serve as a buffer between the harbor and the village of Berendrecht
