    Hiking

The Iron Cross of Monte Gazzaro is an end point after a climb that is part of the popular walking route from Bologna to Florence, known as the "Via Degli Dei".

The "Via Degli Dei" (Way of the Gods) is 130 Km long, long, is so named because it connects four Apennine peaks with evocative ancient Romans mythological names-Mount Adonis, Mount Venus, Mount Jupiter (now Monzuno), and Mount Luario.
