The parish church of Nenzing is dedicated to St. Mauritius.
A church was mentioned around 842 in Nanzingas ecclesia. In 948 Otto I gave an own church to the bishop of Chur. In 1669 early mass benefices were donated. Today's church has a tower base from around 1300, a chancel from around 1450, a nave which was expanded after a fire in 1633 and 1634, consecrated in 1637 and lengthened in 1852. Restorations were in 1900, 1955 and 1982/1983. During the excavation in 1982, a Carolingian complex was discovered.
