At the top of the Hazmburk basalt massif, which reaches a height of 418 m, you will see the impregnable Gothic castle, which consists of the Black and White towers.

Allegedly, the castle hides many secrets. Underground rooms and secret walled passages are said to be carved under the castle. Rumor has it that in the hidden cellars there are barrels of wine or treasure that the French army hid there.

A red tourist sign will lead you to the castle. You can park in the village of Klapý. You can also ride a bike along the road. From the top there are wonderful views of the surroundings.

On the southern slope of the hill are the remains of the town of Podhradí. There are the remains of walls, two towers and the foundations of the church of St. Nicholas.
