Since no discharge water was available on the right-hand side, the water of the Münzbach in the Altväter artificial ditch with the Altväter bridge was used to form the important pit "St. Anna and her grandfathers". It crossed the Mulde at a height of 14 meters above the water level. At the St. Anna including Altväter pit, the water was fed to the artificial wheel of the pit via an impact rose and then channeled through the Anna tunnel into the Mulde valley.
