The manor Große Schonebeck can be seen well from the bird watching hut of the SteverLanddRoute at the Rieselfeldern in Appelhüllen, it seems as if the "Dicke Turm" would protect this valuable nature reserve. Just like its neighbor Klein Schonebeck with the imposing gable, the manor was once completely surrounded by a moat that was fed from the Stever. Today the two old manors are privately owned and cannot be visited. The SteverlandRoute is the family bike path in Münsterland.
14 hands-on stations invite young and old to discover nature on the Stever together. Children can use the explorer card to collect Stever coins and answer riddles at each station and thus become Stever experts. In particularly beautiful places, picnic tables and meadow sofas invite you to take a cozy break. Have a look at our collection :)
