This is - literally - the center of Oslo: aftenposten.no/oslo/i/VR29V/her-er-oslos-geografiske-midtpunkt An artwork (titled "Touch the center of Oslo" by Jon Gundersen) marks the exact spot. That the center of the city I live in should happen to be in the middle of the forest - and even right by one of my favourite biking trails - rather than in some downtown alley, somehow makes me feel happy.
