Bijlmerweide Park

The Bijlmerweide is a wetland area where you can stroll around. Are you out with children? They can lose their energy here!

The park was built around 1975.

There are some narrow paths where art objects are displayed. These are marked with a blue sign and an accompanying text. I would not recommend the path indicated in the route. It is better to follow the bike path a little further. The last artworks were removed in 2013. A few pieces of metal art can still be seen along the normal paths.

This park is especially interesting for children. There is a children's farm, a school garden and a large playground. It is easy to hike across the individual island landscapes over the bridges that still exist.

So funny to sit quietly on a bench here while there are so many buildings and hustle and bustle further away.
