The regional project "Deipen Wiesen" is worth every visit. There live the very rare Soay sheep and many other animals. Thank the provincial government, the Hegering Ascheberg, the Alexians and many other participants in the project.

Unfortunately, the sheep are no longer there at the moment. Nevertheless, it is very interesting and worth seeing. Nature has recaptured the beautifully landscaped area with giant strides. A walk or getting involved by bike is always worthwhile. Some teaching boards on specific areas and topics are appropriate.

Now there are lots of animals on the deipen meadow again. However, goats :-) The bushes have already grown very large, a whole area is settled with trees. In autumn, at dusk, the starlings come here from far away to spend the night. A spectacle worth seeing.
