Here is the mausoleum of the Holnstein family
and right next to it the crypt of the Einsiedel family
The mausoleum is the resting place of Count and Countess Holnstein.
Broken open, desecrated, robbed and severely damaged during the GDR era.
In 1999 it was completely renovated.

In 1908, the Landbank of Berlin took over ownership of Milkel Castle from the Einsiedel family and sold it to the Holnstein family, who extensively renovated the castle and lived there until it was expropriated in 1945. The Holnstein family mausoleum stands next to the Einsiedel family crypt on the Lärchenberg.
