Tips
Short stretch of rocky path "for Expert Hikers" equipped with metal handrails to help progression. The name derives from the presence of numerous step-shaped carvings on the large, otherwise smooth rocks on which the path advances.

It is doable but very narrow in some parts, so if you have a fear of heights it may not be for you, but there are chains at all the tricky points to hold on to.

It is a stretch on rock equipped with carved steps and chains, also reported by Komoot as a dangerous stretch, certainly in case of snow/ice, maybe in the wet you can hold on to the handrail, but frankly in the dry it didn't seem so dangerous to me, nor particularly narrow or exposed, we are in the Apuan Alps there are many much worse points, then everyone will use their own eyes!
