Herinckhave Estate

The name of the havezathe is mentioned in 1337 in the feudal register of Otto van Bentheim; then under the name 'Hof te Vlederingen'. In 1415 Herman Grubbe was enfeoffed with Herinckhave by the bishop of Utrecht.The manor house was inhabited successively by the families Grubbe (from 1428 to 1723) and Von Bönninghausen (from 1723). Before that time, the Vlethinge family lived there for over 300 years.Ludovicus Von Bönninghausen - lord of Herinckhave since 1869 - was a member of the Provincial Council of Overijssel and mayor of Tubbergen for 55 years.
