Wildlife Observation Point at Hirschaue

A great tour, it is a good tip for anyone who wants to escape from the noise and hustle and bustle of everyday life.
From Storkow it is about 48 km. It goes along the lake over the Knüppeldamm to Wendisch Rietz, the cycle path on the B 246 to Glienicke, behind Glienicke left along a gravel path to Herzberg, from Herzberg an asphalt path to Hirschaue. Unfortunately, the farm shop and restaurant are closed without any reason. When the weather is nice, we highly recommend a picnic at one of the viewing points to watch game. We went back to Herzberg. There you can stop off at the Gasthof Simke. We continued on a fairly hilly asphalt path to Dienstdorf and from there via Waldfrieden to Wendisch Rietz and back over the Knüppeldamm to Storkow. This tour is highly recommended, it mainly leads on good cycle paths through the forest, past fields and meadows, pure peace and quiet. There are several swimming opportunities at Scharmützelsee and Storkower See.
