Running between Fort William and Mallaig, this 84-mile round trip has been described as the greatest railway journey in the world.

Starting near Ben Nevis, it visits Arisaig - Britain's most westerly mainland railway station - and passes Loch Morar - the UK's deepest freshwater loch. At Mallaig, the end of the line, lies Loch Nevis, Europe's deepest seawater loch. Along the way you'll cross the 21-arched Glenfinnan viaduct, perhaps imagining for a moment that you're on board the Hogwarts Express.
