Tips
The cycle path connects the district of Pöhlde with the town of Herzberg am Harz. The path is mostly paved and follows a former railway line until just before Herzberg. From there, the rest of the route runs on an asphalted farm track that ends at the entrance to Herzberg at the Eisanbahn bridge.
You can branch off the path both in the Pöhlde area and further north, near the old railway bridge over the Oder. Heading west to Hattorf or Gieboldehausen. Heading east to Scharzfeld or Königshagen. Heading south, the cycle path continues on the former railway line to Rhumspringe.translated by
