1957 to 1959 -
New construction of the first village community school in Lower Saxony
Classes were taught in grades 1 through 9. An extension building with a sports hall and specialist rooms followed in 1968. Only the sports hall remains from this construction phase. The connecting corridor and the utility/work/art rooms were demolished.
Because of the orientation level introduced in Lüchow in 1978, the grades disappeared.
In 1981 the village community school became today's primary school in Schweskau.
