Zoraya, the morning star
In the second half of the 15th century, the daughter of the commander of Martos, Isabel de Solís, was captured by the armies of Muley Hacén, king of Granada, during a battle between Christians and Muslims of Granada. Arriving at the Alhambra, the young girl was imprisoned in the Tower of the Thief or Sultana, which would eventually take on a new name after this legendary episode.
