Hiking

The Schutzengelweg trail starts at the valley station at Tegelberg and ends at the Tegelberg mountain station. It is approx. 5km long and winds steeply uphill for approx. 903 vertical meters. From the valley station, it leads through the Ammergebirge nature reserve. With its various information boards, it spans an informative arc from the hunters to the present day. This trail offers a breathtaking view of Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau.
