The Lamberti Church in Aurich (East Frisia) is the parish church of the Evangelical Lutheran Lamberti Church congregation. The neoclassical church was built between 1833 and 1835 on the site of the 12th-century predecessor, which was demolished in 1826. This building was first mentioned in the Brokmer Letter between 1270 and 1340.[1] The name of the church is derived from Saint Lambertus, to whom the original pre-Reformation building was dedicated.
